Usage Analytics

The Usage Analytics section shows account-wide or source-wise usage statistics. All Gumlet usage is calculated on a single metric: bandwidth used. Get a detailed breakdown of bandwidth used, bandwidth saved, total requests, and transformations.

In the top-right corner, you can find the selection for source and the month for which the usage is displayed.

Aggregated Stats

This section shows aggregated stats for the entire month.

Transform Response Time

For every transformation request, the time is taken to fetch and process the request. The lower the time, the faster the transformation.

Origin Hit Ratio

The number of requests that successfully hit the origin cache server is divided by total requests (hit + miss). The higher the hit ratio, the lower the hit on the source server.

Bandwidth saved

The better the optimization, the more the bandwidth is saved.

CDN

The important metrics to find the efficacy of a CDN are faster response time, higher 2xx and lower 5xx errors.

Status 2xx

The requests that are successfully processed by CDN.

CDN Response Time

The time taken by CDN to respond to the asset request.

Status 4xx

The requests that failed because it was a Bad request, orResource doesn't exist, or Resource is not accessibleand more.

Status 5xx

The CDN was not able to process the request due to server errors. This should be the minimum for the best experience.

Top Assets

Get access to top assets on Gumlet. You can view up to 100 top assets and find the popular media across sources. This will enable you to improve your video content and production quality for a significant audience. You can also download the list in a CSV file.

Source-wise Consumption

The source distribution of bandwidth in your account.
