How to Enable and Access MP4 Download Links for Your Videos on Gumlet

Accessing MP4 download links for your videos on Gumlet involves two key steps: configuring your video processing settings and ensuring eligibility based on your subscription plan. Below, we provide a step-by-step guide to help you successfully enable and access MP4 files.

Step 1: Enable MP4 Processing in Your Settings

By default, your video processing profile may be set to HLS and DASH, displaying an HLS URL. To enable MP4 generation, follow these steps:

Navigate to your video processing settings within the Gumlet Dashboard.

Choose the option to edit the processing settings.

Locate and enable the 'Generate MP4' feature by selecting the corresponding radio button.

Save the updated settings.

Reprocess the video to apply the changes.

Once these steps are complete, an MP4 version will be generated and made available for download. Additionally, you can download the original MP4 file via the Gumlet Dashboard.

Step 2: Verify Your Subscription Plan

Even after following the above steps, the MP4 option may not appear if your subscription plan does not include this feature. The MP4 download functionality is reserved for users on Gumlet’s Business and Enterprise plans. To check your plan:
