Input Video Codec

Gumlet supports wide range of input video codecs like mpeg4, h264, h265, vp9, vp8 andwmv3. All audio formats are supported as well. When you upload video to Gumlet we automatically detect the codec and process the video accordingly.

Output Video Codec

Gumlet supports H264 (AVC) and H265 (HEVC) as output video codec. If you select both, Gumlet will output dual-codec HLS and DASH streams. Those devices that support H265 will automatically pick it and those which don't support will fall-back on H264.
